Alfresco source connector
The Alfresco connector consists of three flows which are described below. The first and third flow uses CMIS 1.1 which is supported by Alfresco 4.2 and higher, and the second flow uses REST API that is supported by Alfresco 5.2 and higher.

This connector does not calculate source.ancestors. If this accelerator is used with the Transformation Accelerator, be sure to run the Calculate Ancestors flow before transformation.
Settings
mongoConnection
The Mongo connection string including the database name to connect to.
origin
Specifies the origin of the document in the Content Store.
pageSize
Specifies the page size number that is used when paginating.
Example: 100
retrieveUsers
Enables retrieving all users from the Alfresco repository. Can either be true or false. Users are retrieved from global repository, these are not tied to specific sites.
retrieveGroups
Enables retrieving all groups from the Alfresco repository. Can either be true or false. Groups are retrieved from the global repository, these are not tied to specific sites.
retrieveVersions
Enables retrieving all versions of an Alfresco document. When set to false only the current version is retrieved.
retrieveBinaries
Enables downloading the binaries into the Content Store. Can either be true or false.
retrieveParents
Enables retrieving all the locations of the Alfresco document. When set to false, only the last found location is stored.
retrieveACLs
Enables retrieving all ACLs of an Alfresco object. Can either be true or false.
baseUrl
The base URL to the Alfresco environment.
Example: http://alfresco.company.com:8080
alfrescoUsername
The Alfresco CMIS API username. This user needs to have read-only access to all the contents that need to be read.
alfrescoPassword
The Alfresco CMIS API password.
rootPaths
A list of root paths.
Example: ["/sites/xill4|/sites/xill4-demo1/documentLibrary","/sites/xill4|/sites/xill4-demo2/documentLibrary"]
discardMetadata
Cleans the source.properties object for all stored objects by removing default extracted metadata and unused properties.
Only a minimal set of metadata fields required by schemas and processing logic is retained.

Containers
The default properties from the succinctProperties object in source.properties is reduced to:
["cmis:objectTypeId", "cmis:baseTypeId", "cm:title"]
Records
The succinctProperties object in source.properties is reduced to:
["cmis:checkinComment", "cmis:objectTypeId", "cmis:baseTypeId", "cm:title", "cm:taggable", "cm:author"]
Specific for links, lnk:description and lnk:title are retained additionally.
principals
No metadata properties are retained.
ACLs
No metadata properties are retained.
All non-default (custom) metadata is retained.
apiUrl
The API URL to the Alfresco environment. Default /alfresco/cmisbrowser
In some cases, the Alfresco connector might not work as expected and can cause 403 Not Authorized errors. To resolve this change this value to /alfresco/api/-default-/public/cmis/versions/1.1/browser
Alfresco-source (2. Tags)
Features
- Making HTTP request to get the name of the Alfresco tags (the Alfresco-source (1. Content) flow only gets the tag ids).
- Storing the tag names in source.properties.alfresco.tagsInfo

Alfresco-source (3. Content Types)
Features
- Exports all content types including fields from an Alfresco repository. These types can be used when creating content in Alfresco.

The base URL to the Alfresco environment.
Example: http://alfresco.company.com:8080
alfrescoUsername
The Alfresco username. This user needs to have read-only access to all the contents that need to be read.
