OnBase source connector

The OnBase database connector is supported by OnBase 6.2 and higher.

Settings​

mongoConnection​

The Mongo connection string including the database name to connect to.

onBaseDBConnectionString​

The connection string to the OnBase database.

Example: mssql://USERNAME:PASSWORD@onbase.yourcompany.com:1433/OnBase

onBaseDBEngine​

The engine of the OnBase database. Currently, only MSSQL is supported.

onBaseDBOwner​

The owner of the OnBase database schema.

pageSize​

Specifies the page size number that is used when paginating.

Example: 1000

retrieveUsers​

Enables retrieving all users into the Content store. Can either be true or false.

retrieveGroups​

Enables retrieving all groups into the Content store. Can either be true or false.

retrieveUnfiledDocuments​

Enables retrieving all unfiled documents. Can either be true or false.

rootIds​

A list of comma-separated object ids (numbers). When an empty array is provided, all folders are exported.

Example: [519,842]

origin​

Specifies the origin of the document in the Content Store.

discardMetadata​

Cleans the source.properties object for all stored objects by removing default extracted metadata and unused properties.

Only a minimal set of metadata fields required by schemas and processing logic is retained.

Retained metadata per object type
Containers​

Only metadata definitions that are set for the contentType used is retained.

Records​

Only metadata definitions that are set for the contentType used and physical item metadata is retained.

Binaries​

No metadata properties are retained.

principals​

No metadata properties are retained.

All non-default (custom) metadata is retained.
